Spring Showers officially arrived

Spring has officially arrived on the ranch. Barn Kittens are starting to make their appearance around the barn, and just when all the mud seems to dry up, we get more rain. 

We can't complain though, that rain paired with the warmer temperatures and the sun occasionally shining means the grass is making its big debut for the season. We can't wait to turn the animals back out into the comfort of the hills. 

In the meantime, between the showers, we've been prepping the fences and clearing more areas to maximize pastures. This time of year, we avoid driving around the ranch due to the nature of our rich soil and the likelihood of tearing up the grass roots.

With the seasons changing and grilling season kicking into gear, we had ourselves a bit of a Mis-Steak with our butcher.
